About Us

What Is The Little Moving Artist?

We are a moving arts company that believes every person should use their bodies and imaginations to create their own work of art, learn about themselves, their environment, and create life long habits for good health!  We will bring all kinds of exciting sensory props, costumes, themes, and imagination games to set the stage for a fun and energetic learning experience in our classes.

Why Do We Teach Creative Movement?

Movement is the first way children learn to explore their environment and understand the world around them. Creative movement enhances this primal understanding of the importance of movement by continuing the connection we are born with. Connection with the body through movement has proven success in developing reading, writing, language skills, concentration, self-esteem, health and sensory awareness.
